Clean Recipes / Weight Lose Recipes

Today’s post will share the last of my cleanse juice recipes. My cleanse starts tomorrow morning – I went shopping this weekend for all the ingredients for 3 days worth of juices. I will be sharing the cost of the entire cleanse this week, since my goal was to be cheaper than the Catalyst or Blueprint cleanses.
But today is about the final juice, the dessert juice – the Cashew Milk recipe.

Here are the ingredients for the milk -
  • 4 oz. raw cashews
  • 1 tbsp agave
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 16 oz water
gain, another very simple recipe – just add everything into the Blender and blend until smooth & creamy.

I added a few ice cubes to my drink after I had poured it, but next time I might add it into the blender to give it a little extra chill.

This juice is so different from all the others…obviously, because there is no fruits or veggies in it! But it seriously tastes like dessert. A hint of a vanilla milkshake, if you will. Tastes like a dream, I know I will look forward to this juice every day!

Ok, I have to be honest. I have been dreading making this juice. Not sure why, but I am just not the biggest fan of beets. I know they are good for you – they are just not my favorite. But, the cleanse calls for beets – so I must juice some beets!

Here’s what I used – 1 beet, a large handful of baby carrots, 3 small apples, 1 lemon, 1 lime, ginger slice.
The Catalyst Cleanse does not include carrots in the mixture, but the Blueprint Cleanse does. Since beets aren’t my favorite, I added in the carrots to hopefully downplay the beet-iness of the juice. I also added a 1/2 cucumber at the end, to again, mask some of the beet flavor.

In the end, the juice turned out to be pretty tasty. Wasn’t as beet-y as I thought it would be, I guess the extra carrots & cucumber helped cover the taste. It actually tasted like lemonade more than anything. Weird

I add ice cubes to my juices – to make them all a little chillier. Even with all the fruits & vegetables in the fridge, the juice can sometimes come out room temperature, so I usually add ice!
